I arrived about two hours ago and I am settling in. I was welcomed by the lovely lady called Grace who is helping me get acclimated to this new environment. I will be meeting my host family a bit later. Their home is beautiful and I can’t wait see them. I’ve already had one (ad)venture. I had to get an adapter that fits my three-prong charger.
At first, I was going to order the laptop bit online then thought to myself there has got to be places around that sell exactly what I need. With the help of google I located a place and it was a five-minute walk. Seeing the people in their surroundings was worth it; I like the energy of this town. I had passed by the Promenade des Anglais earlier, on the way from the airport, and the scenery of the city is just so beautiful. I can’t wait to go on more explorations but right now I have to unpack and settle in. In the meanwhile, enjoy this video shot by yours truly.
