Back in Nice!
I arrived in Nice this morning and I’m staying with V. It was so awesome seeing her and catching up with her. The first order of business was breakfast, which I enjoyed on her lovely balcony, while we chatted about everything. My heart was so filled with joy. I’d really missed her.
After breakfast, I took a walk around town to stretch my legs. It was so surreal walking down Jean Médecin and making my way to Place Masséna. Nice is just so beautiful.
I walked the Promenade des Anglais for a few minutes then decided to visit the Musée d’Art Moderne et d’Art Contemporain (MAMAC).
It was awesome reuiniting with the dragon that keeps guard over the entrance. During myvisit to MAMAC last time around in Nice, I didn’t get to see the inside of the museum. We had gone straight to the rooftop to see the views and I never returned as I had planned to.
This time around I got to see the artwork. It was a lovely experience and going out on the roof at the end was like breathing life back in again.
On my way back to Vs, I got Fenocchio (best ice cream ever!)and my day was made.
How I missed Nice!
